A Combination resource-dump, workshop, and virtual commonplace book all rolled into one.
So does Scientology still exist in Riskail?Your posts are always so idea dense--its like an extra-value meal. I'd have parcelled this info out over a whole week. ;)Have you ever thought of doing a wikidot or some such for a glossary given all the neologisms/specialized terminology in the setting? I'm always a fan of a good glossary.
Re: Scientology in Riskail. Not unless they pay me money for a product endorsement. The Deutsch-metal sponge-cult is bad enough.I have been wondering about the whole length-of-post thing, but have not received any feed-back until now. I can break things up into smaller segments. Especially now that we've had a bunch of overviews that could be revisited one chunk at a time to more fully detail things. Like doing the immigrants for each of the river-gates...I am considering a Wiki of some sort, but right now I'm not sure which one is the better choice. Some of hem are expensive, others have rules that make little sense. Do you (or anyone else reading this stuff) have any recommendations?
No Hubbardites, eh? Well, at least Riskaili psychiatrists don't have to put up with that. ;)Responded with my totally unsubstantiated thoughts on the other issues via email. Maybe someone else will provide input, too.
@Trey: I can't say that there aren't any H-ites there, but I won't say that there are unles sI get paid to do so. And we get a clearance in writing (notarized) alongside the check granting us permission to make use of their name in vain, etc.Probably isn't happening. Thanks for the other stuff--I am looking into it and I appreciate your advice. I am discussing the carving-up of a few posts with the editor (my wife) and we'll see how that turns out. The next post will have to get re-scheduled as it was a whopper--the Grim Cabal of the Asylum-Chateau Diodoti. We'll break it into a historical background, the Grounds, the Inmates/Cabal, and the remainder will make it four or five posts instead of one mega-post. Should be a nice experiment. There are a couple of 100-item seed-note pieces that'll go as-is though...Thanks again! It's nice to know that someone reads this stuff and 'gets' it and appreciate it too.We are both very happy!
