Firearms Tutorial
So many authors and GMs include firearms in their fiction and adventures that it just might come in handy to have a reference like this on hand. This online tutorial is pretty thorough and well worth checking out if you're going to be playing with guns in a story or a game...or even in real life.

First Kingdom: Remembering a True Classic

Flashback Universe
A very handy site that is devoted to the Golden Age of comics. This place is well-stocked with resources, links and information to help you dig through the accumulated layers of legalities and lies surrounding and burying so many Public Domain characters from this age of wonders.

Forensic Science Resources Online
A nice selection of forensics-related links across the web, for when you want to look up some details for your next CSI-inspired scenario or whatever. This wonderful resource was compiled by: Cynthia Holt, a Science & Engineering Librarian at The Gelman Library, which is an integral part of The George Washington University campus in Washington DC.

An independent publisher that produces tons of free PDF-editions of all sorts of Historical Texts that are of interest to writers and GMs/DMs. They have thousands to choose from, so you're sure to find something amusing or interesting, if you look around their site.

French Emblems at Glasgow University
An incredible treasure-trove of Emblems from all known 16th Century French Emblem-manuscripts. Incredible stuff. Absolutely worth making a visit--but plan to take some time as there is a LOT here and you'll be inundated with ideas, images and inspiration in no time.

From Old Books
A wonderful resource for finding decorative elements, borders, and more all derived from Old Books, most of which are in the Public Domain. A tremendously useful place, if only for reference images or doing some research into obscure typography, etc.
